An Orientation Programme for the first-year PU students of the academic year 2026–27 was organized at Poornaprajna Auditorium, Udupi, on 1 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The programme also included the felicitation of state rank holders and sports achievers.
The event was graced by His Holiness Sri Sri Eshapriya Theertha Swamiji, President of Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council. Dr. Ashoka Kamath, Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Udupi, attended as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were Dr. A. P. Bhat, Hon. Secretary, USAMEC, Bengaluru; Sri Ramesh Hande, Hon. Secretary, PPUC Managing Committee, Udupi; and CA Sri T. Prashanth Holla, Hon. Treasurer, PPUC Managing Committee, Udupi.
The dignitaries addressed the students and highlighted the importance of discipline, dedication, academic excellence, and character building. The state rank holders and sports achievers were felicitated for their outstanding achievements. The programme provided valuable guidance and motivation to the newly admitted students, helping them begin their PU journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
